It's quite obvious if you live in North Dakota where it can get brutally cold in the winter, but even in places like Arizona, a battery can get low and this is particularly so if do a lot of very short-term driving where you drive only a couple of miles or so. And chances are, with modern cars and trucks having a ton of computers in them, there will be times when you have worn down the reserve power in your battery and your car or truck won't start.
